Hi folks!
getting your SFP transceivers from FS.com (fiber store)? Did you know that there's an easy way to re-encode the EEPROM of those transceivers to make them work with gear from different vendors?
Check out the FS Box! No hacking involved and it works in combination with a cloud hosted service and a software driver currently only available on Windows platforms. I've tried it on Fedora Linux 28 using VirtualBox, Windows 10 and USB Passthrough and it's working like charm!

It allows you to re-program SFP/SFP+, XFP and QSFP+/QSFP28 transceivers for use with Brocade, Intel, Juniper, Cisco, Arista, DELL (Force 10) and Netgear gear. Now you can stock pile transceivers and just re-encode on-the-fly and on a project basis!
FYI: There's an updated version of the FS Box coming out supposedly this month.
Hope this Helps.
Cheers!
